Dragons grab 4th after first day of Underwood Invite

Tiffin University's men's golf team continued their strong start to the 2019-20 season, tying for fourth place after day one of the Don Underwood Invitational played at the Meadows GC in Allendale, Michigan.

Tiffin was consistent through its two rounds, firing 294 in both efforts for a 588 total. Northwood also shot 588, and both teams sit 12 strokes off the lead. Findlay leads the field with 576, followed by Wayne State with 580 and Grand Valley State with 584.

Britton Hensel was in 4th overall, staying steady with 70 and 72 for 142, while Cameron McCloskey also shot well with two rounds of 72 for 144 and a 9th place spot.

Nico Kyprian (74-77 for 151) and David Siegel (78-73 for 151) matched each other's total, with Siegel chopping five strokes off her round one score, while Felix Salomonsson shot 79-78 for 157.
