Dragons in 5th after first day of G-MAC Championships

Tiffin University's men's golf team was 22 strokes off the lead after day one of the G-MAC Championships held at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
 
Malone University was in the lead with a total of 593, firing 298 in the 1st round and 295 in round two. Trevecca Nazarene was right behind on rounds of 294 & 301 while Findlay matched the Trojans with rounds of 296 and 299 for 595. Hillsdale College finished just ahead of the Dragons with 607 (298-309). 
 
The Dragons had fired 301 in their first round and 310 in round two for 611. 
 
Britton Hensel continued his strong spring, shooting a low of 70 and 77 for 147 to lead TU. 
 
All the Dragons were within seven strokes of each other, with Noah Barth next at 153 (73-80) and Cameron McCloskey with 155 (79-76). David Siegel fired 156 (79-77) while Samuel Reid shot 160 with two rounds of 80 to bring up the rear.
