Tiffin University opened its spring season at the 21 team Saginaw Valley Spring Invitational played at Cherry Blossom Golf Course, finishing 16th after round one.
Overall Grand Valley State tied with Bellarmine for the lead with rounds of 282, while Findlay was right behind with 283. Tiffin tied with Illinois-Springfield with 301.
Only six strokes separated the five Dragons golfers, with Cameron McCloskey leading the pack with 73. Noah Barth had 74, while Britton Hensel and Samuel Reid tied with 75. Julian Bartucca brought up the rear with 79.
