Tiffin University's men's golf team made a bit of history at the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional played at Findlay Country Club on May 9.

For only the second time in school history, the Dragons will advance to the NCAA Championships, as they finished second overall. It was the highest finish ever at an NCAA Regional for the Dragons, topping the fourth place mark they achieved in 2015-16.

The Dragons totaled 868, four strokes behind champion Indianapolis with 864. Missouri-St. Louis also earned selection with a third place finish (872). TU will now advance to the Robert Jones Golf Trail at the Shoals, Fighting Joe Course in Muscle Shoals, Alabama May 21-25 for the National Championships hosted by the University of North Alabama.

Tiffin's third round effort held steady with their second round performance. They were a stroke better (294-293), with Noah Barth leading the way with a five stroke improvement between rounds (75-70). He finished with a three-round total of 217, tying Logan Price for the team lead. Price also improved, shooting 74 on day three (76 in round two).

Jay Green fell from 72 to 77 in round three but was still third overall for TU with 218, while Jordan Bollenbacher (73-74 for 220) and Tomas Krivanec (74-75 for 225) also stayed steady over the final two rounds.
