The Tiffin University men's basketball team (4-7, 2-3 GMAC) was defeated by Hillsdale 63-53.

Hillsdale shot slightly better than Tiffin shooting 22-for-54 (40.7%) and 5-for-16 from three-point range (31.3%) while TU shot 21-for-54 (38.9%) and 2-for-14 (14.3%) from beyond the arc, and outrebounded the Dragons' 39 to 28.

It was a low-scoring first half from both teams as the Chargers were up 13-8 at the 10:48 mark. The Dragons responded with a 6-0 run to take a 14-13 lead. The Chargers tied the game at 16-16 but Tiffin led the rest of the first half to go into the break with a 23-22 lead.

Hillsdale came out and went on a 12-2 run to take a 34-25 lead. The Dragons countered with a 5-2 run to cut the lead down to 36-30 at the 14:48 mark. However, Hillsdale made three straight buckets to lead 46-32. The two teams traded points the rest of the way as Hillsdale came away with a 63-53 victory.

Carius Key led the Dragons with 16 points shooting 7-for-15 from the field, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals, Morgan Taylor tallied 11 points shooting 3-for-8 from the field, with three rebounds, four assists, and one block, and Wesley Jordan had 10 points shooting 4-for-10 from the field with five rebounds and one steal.
