The Tiffin University men's basketball team had a fantastic second half to beat Carlow 106-60.

The Dragons scored 61 points in the second half shooting 54.8 percent from the field and 46.7 from beyond the arc, while Carlow scored 26 points shooting 35.5 percent from the field.

The Dragons improve to 4-4 overall, while Carlow falls to 1-9.

The Dragons found themselves down early 10-5 in the first six minutes of play. Tiffin countered with a 5-0 run to tie the game at 10-10 with 12:19 left in the first half. Then, they went on a 17-4 run to lead 27-14.

The Dragons outscored the Celtics 45-34 in the first half despite starting 0-for-11 from three-point territory to start the half. Tiffin finished the first half shooting 3-for-6, going 4-for-18 total in the first half.

Tiffin kept up the offensive pressure and went on a 15-0 run midway through the half to lead the Celtics 93-45. The Dragons' offense played much better in the second half as they shot 54.8 percent from the field, and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc, outscoring the visitors 61-26.

The Dragons' offense was on fire as they had seven players in double-digit points and ten different scorers. Trent Williams led the team with 18 points shooting 8-for-17 from the field and 2-for-8 from three-point territory, with three rebounds, six assists, and two steals, Tylin Lockett-Fuller scored 17 points shooting 5-for-10 from the field and 4-for-8 from beyond the arc, had six rebounds, three assists, and one steal, and Tanner Johnson tallied 14 points shooting 5-for-9 from the field and 4-for-7 from long range, with five rebounds, one steal, and one block.

Wesley Jordan registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds shooting 4-for-6 from the field, Devaughn Munson recorded 11 points shooting 4-for-8 from the field and 1-for-3 from beyond the arc, had two rebounds, two assists, and one steal, and Luke Johnson tallied 12 points shooting 5-for-7 from the field, had three rebounds, four assists, and registered a season-high six steals. The last time a player had five or more steals was Feb. 6, 2021 when Thomas Hickman had five against Cedarville.
