Tiffin University hung close to Ball State for most of the first half, but hot shooting combined with a dominating inside game led Ball State to a 108-62 exhibition victory.

Leading 7-6 at the 16:53 mark of the first half, Ball State went on an 11-2 run over the next two minutes to push their lead to 8 points. Still, the Dragons remained in the game, trailing by just 7 points with 10 minutes left in the half.

Ball State continued to push their advantage inside, finishing the half on a 25-18 run that gave them a 49-34 halftime advantage.

Tiffin looked to make a run at the start of the second half to get back into the game, but Ball State wouldn't budge, exploding on a 18-9 run that put the game out of reach for TU. Eventually Ball State raced to a 59-28 second half margin.

Overall Ball State outshot TU 59 percent to 34 percent and held a huge 52-27 rebounding edge. They did most of their damage in the paint, outscoring TU 56-26.

Austin Adams led TU with 18 points and was the lone TU player in double figures. Jarrell Taylor had 8 points with 7 rebounds, while Thomas Hickman and Braxton Fasone had 7 points each.
