The Tiffin University men's basketball team fell in an exhibition 73-49 to the Wright State University Raiders. The Dragons held their own throughout the game, but the Dragons were outscored 39-22 over the final 14 minutes of the game.

The Raiders jumped out of the gate, pushing their lead to double digits at 18-8 with 12:49 left in the 1st half. The Raiders continued to pad their lead for the remainder of the half, hitting 45.5% of their field goal attempts as they scored 40 points. The Dragons managed 22 points in the 1st half, hitting 37.5% of their field goals. Turnovers plagued Tiffin in the half, committing 15 miscues compared to the Raiders' four turnovers. Tiffin was led by the six points of Quentin Jones on 3 of 6 shooting.

The Dragons came out of the halftime locker room and showed some moxie, opening the 2nd half with a 12-2 run to cut their deficit to 42-34. After a Raiders' timeout, Wright State pushed their lead back to ten, leading 44-34. Tiffin's Hunter Schmaltz pulled the Dragons to within seven with a made triple with 14:08 remaining. That would be the last time Tiffin saw their deficit under 10 points as the Raiders were strong from the charity stripe, hitting 17 free throws compared to Tiffin's three. Wright State also flexed their muscle in the paint, outscoring Tiffin 44-24 and holding a 41-31 rebounding advantage.

Austin Adams led Tiffin in scoring, posting 13 points on 6 of 10 shooting. Quentin Jones finished with 10 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the bench. Shane Waldon was strong for Tiffin as well, scoring eight points and tying for the team lead in rebounds with four.
