Tiffin University will play six GMAC games in the spring of 2021.

Tiffin University's football team will play its 2020-21 season beginning March 13, as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced a slate of six conference games taking place in the spring.

Teams are allowed to start practice on Monday, February 1, with six different weeks for the conference schedule built in starting on March 13.

Each program also has one bye week scheduled between the start of conference play and the final weekend of the regular season.

Tiffin opens its season with a road trip to Walsh on March 13 before their home opener on March 20 against Lake Erie.

Following a bye week, April opens with a road trip to Hillsdale on April 3 before coming back home against Kentucky Wesleyan on April 10.

TU's final road game takes them to Ohio Dominican on April 17 before their season finale at home against Findlay on April 24.

The Great Midwest football team champion will be determined by the regular season standings. Any teams tied with the best conference winning percentage will be declared co-champions.

Each member institution will have three home and three away games with no official postseason following the cancellation of the NCAA Championships and December's America's Crossroads Bowl Game against an opponent from the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Great Midwest Offensive/Defensive/Special Teams Players of the Week award selections will be dependent on the first scheduled contests for the regular season schedule.

A date for the traditional Great Midwest Preseason Coaches Poll presented by Under Armour is also still to be determined.

All start times will be determined by the home institution and are subject to change. Due to the number of home events each institution may be tasked with hosting throughout the spring, schools will retain autonomy for decision making on video streaming events to the Great Midwest Digital Network.

The Dragons are coming off a historic 2019 season where they made their first NCAA Championships appearance after winning the GMAC Championship with a perfect 7-0 record. They finished the year ranked 23rd in the country with a 9-2 record, posting back-to-back nine-win seasons for just the second time in program history (2006, 07).
