The Tiffin University Equestrian Team traveled back to Otterbein University to compete in the second show day.

In the Intermediate Jumping, Paige McCaslin rode strong, and Carrie McCurrach rode a beautiful course but had tough competition in a field of 12. Missy Macechko received 6th place during her class, and Lindsay Weiser rode her first class ever as a Intermediate rider. In the Novice Jumping, Devyn Hennessy rode well and earned a 2nd place and Sydney Cox came in 4th place. 

Moving into the second half of the day, Open Flat was the first class. Carrie McCurrach drew a tough horse and handled it well. Her class was a very competitive class. During the Intermediate Flat, Paige McCaslin had a much improved ride. Lindsey Weiser claimed a 1st place with a beautiful ride. Missy Macechko drew a difficult horse but handled her ride well. Devyn Hennessy again rode well and tied for 2nd place. This, along with her jumping score, earned her a tie for reserve champion high point rider of the show.  In the Novice Flat, Sydney Cox secured a 4th place. During the Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter, Kaitlyn Borer rose to a 6th place. Emily Borsen had a nice ride in her big class. Melody Lozano came in 5th place, with a rematch on her horse from yesterday's show. Bridget Webber received 6th place and Calysta Herniter came in 2nd place which qualified her for regionals and moved her into the Novice Division. In the Walk/Trot division, Arissa Hendershot came in 4th place. 

Tiffin University was 4th overall. Otterbein University came in champion with 38 points. Ohio State was reserve champion with 28 points. Ohio University was 3rd with 26 points, Tiffin 4th with 16 points, The University of Dayton 5th with 14 points, Kenyon College 6th with 10 points, Wilmington College 7th with 8 points, Ohio Wesleyan 8th with 3 points and Denison University 9th with 2 points. 

The Dragons' next hunt show will be March 2nd and 3rd at the Sid Griffith Equestrian Center in Hilliard, Ohio.
