Dragons win afternoon Wilmington meet

Tiffin University won the Wilmington College Western PM show, outpointing four other teams.
 
In the Wilmington College Western PM show,  Jacob Strandberg placed 4th in the Beginner division, Arissa Hendershot 3rd place, and Destiny Maruna captured 2nd place. 
 
In Intermediate One Horsemanship, Alexis Reisner rode tough to a 1st place, which moves her into the Intermediate Two division. 
 
In Intermediate Two, Paige McCaslin had a tough ride, Bridget Webber had a beautiful ride, Bailey Wells came in 5th place and Emily Boersen earned 1st place.
 
In the Novice division Morgan Hixenbaugh rode a tricky draw well, while Kaitlyn Borer clinched a 2nd place.
 
In the Advanced Horsemanship, Lindsey Weiser scored a 6th, Morgan Lynch 5th, Calysta Herniter had a beautiful ride in a competitive class, Katie Vogel earned 2nd place, and Rachael Dowczek secured a 1st place. 
 
In the Open Flat, Ashley Koszalka came in 3rd place. In reining she rode tough to a 1st place on a tricky ride. This earned Kozalka the title of Reserve Champion High Point Rider.
The Tiffin University Equestrian Team was the overall champion high point team, followed by the Ohio State University in reserve, Willmington College in third, Ohio University in fourth, and Hocking in fifth.
 
The equestrian team wishes to thank one of our seniors, Morgan Hixenbaugh, as she is graduating and will be moving on to do great things in the world.
 
In the AM show, The Tiffin University Western Team finished fourth overall. In the Begining Horsemanship class Destiny Maruna placed 3rd along with Jacob Strandberg,  and Arissa Hendershot earned a 2nd place.
 
In Intermediate One, Alexis Reisner secured a 3rd place.
 
In the Intermediate Two division, Paige McCaslin had a smooth draw, McKenzie Sargent earned a 4th place which moves her on to regional finals, Melody Lozano delivered a 1st place ride, followed by Bailey Wells in 3rd place, Bridget Webber in fourth , and Emily Boerson in 5th. 
 
In the novice division, Kaitlyn Borer scored a 5th place, Lindsey Weiser 6th, Morgan Lynch 4th and Calysta Herniter captured a 2nd.
 
In Advanced Horsemanship Rachael Dowczek rode very well in her class and Katie Vogel earned 2nd place.
 
In the Reining, Ashley Koszalka rode to a 2nd place.
 
The Tiffin University Equestrian Team finished fourth out of five teams for the morning show.The Ohio State University team was champion, Wilmington College reserve champion, Ohio University third, and Hocking College Fifth.
