The Tiffin University baseball team dropped the season series against Davenport on Sunday afternoon, falling 4-0 to the Panthers.

Tiffin University starting pitcher Brady Ward pitched well for the Dragons, allowing only one hit over the course of the first two innings. The Panthers matched the Dragons on the mound, holding Tiffin scoreless. 

All the scoring came in the top half of the 3rd, as the Panthers got one run on a run scoring single, and then used a three run bomb to right field to make it a 4-0 game. Tiffin's offense was held to only three hits from the 4th inning on as Davenport never let the Tiffin offense get going. 

Ward lasted seven innings on the mound for Tiffin, allowing four runs while striking out five. Offensively the Dragons managed only 11 runs over the course of the four game set, being shutout for the fourth time this year.

Tiffin is now 12-22 overall and 6-13 in the GLIAC.
