The Tiffin University baseball team was shutout on Sunday afternoon, falling 10-0 to No.11 Quincy University Hawks.
The Hawks retired the Dragons in their half of the 1st, and scored five runs on four hits and four walks in the bottom half of the inning. Quincy added a pair of runs in the bottom of the 2nd, plating the two runs on two hits and a Tiffin error.
Tiffin turned to Hunter Carson in the bullpen to eat up some innings, working five innings in relief. Carson allowed three runs to Quincy, with only one being an earned run. The Hawks added the final three runs of the game in the 5th, using three hits to do so.
Tiffin falls to 1-3 overall.
