January 



Nicole Berry (So.), Women's Indoor Track and Field:
 The Pitsburg, Ohio native placed first in shot put at Hillsdale while also taking second in the shot and weight throw at the Dragon Open. She is currently ranked fourth in Division II in shot put. She is also a peer leader and is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Jonte Baker (Sr.), Men's Indoor Track and Field:
 The Maple Heights, Ohio native is currently ranked fourth in the nation in the 60 meter dash. He recently took third in the 200 meters at Saginaw Valley State while also placing 8th in the 4x400. He is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Jensen Hiegel (Jr.), Women's Basketball:
 The Findlay, Ohio native averaged 5 points and 6 rebounds per game through the month and is one of the team leaders. She is a team captain and also serves in the business club and in SAAC. She provides leadership both on and off the court. She is majoring in Marketing. 

  

           

 

 

 

  

 

 

 
Hayden Bronne (Sr.), Men's Wrestling:
 The St. Paris, Ohio native is leading the nation in pins by a wide margin and recently placed 3rd at the Midwest Classic, beating four ranked opponents. He is ranked 5th in Division II in his weight class. He volunteers with area youth wrestling and also helps in tutoring his teammates. He is majoring in Law Enforcement.

November 



Arissa Hendershot (So.), Equestrian:
 The Dunkirk, Maryland native was a double qualifier regionally in the Introductory Huntseat division and the Beginner Western division. She won her class in the Wilmington western show and routinely places in the top three at events. She works at the Murphy Center and also works at the circuit courthouse in Annapolis, Maryland during the summer. She is majoring in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.

Bryan LaVearn (Jr.), Men's Wrestling:
 The Ortonville, Michigan native is currently ranked 12th in the country in his weight class. He won the Findlay Open while beating two returning All Americans, and also had second place finishes at the Ohio Collegiate Open and the Storm Open. He is ranked first in the region. He is active with SAAC and is also a coach for youth wrestling. He is majoring in Homeland Security.

Jada Gilliam (Gr.), Women's Cross Country:
The Euclid, Ohio native helped the women's cross country squad to an 8th place finish at the GMAC Championships with a personal best time. She also serves as a Graduate Assistant and is involved with ACM, Ohio Cyber Women, and the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals. She is majoring in Crime Analysis.

Nicholas Runco (Jr.), Men's Cross Country:
 The Parker, Colorado native shaved 25 seconds off his personal record in the 8K to help lead his team to a 5th place finish at the GMAC Championships. Earlier in the month he helped his team finish 6th at the Fast Cats Classic in Kentucky with a 33rd place mark. He serves as a resident assistant and is involved with ACM and ITS at the help desk. He is majoring in Cyber Defense and Information Security.

Emily Koehler (Jr.), Women's Golf:
The Vienna, Ohio Sport Management major finished 3rd at the Great Midwest Preview while helping her team to a second place finish at Ohio Dominican. She posted a 76.6 scoring average for the month. She is active in SAAC, CRU, and the Sports Management club, is a tutor on campus, and helps volunteering at senior homes in Tiffin.

Leo Hasenstab, (Gr.), Men's Soccer:
 Hasenstab, a International Business grad student from Wiesbaden, Germany, was twice named GMAC Player of the Week. He scored a hat trick against Illinois Springfield and tallied 6 goals in the first 7 games of the season.
