April

Jessica Bombard (Senior), Women's Lacrosse: Bombard has had a stellar senior season and is currently second in career saves in NCAA Division II. She leads the GLIAC in saves and save percentage and was named GLIAC Player of the Week on April 6, her third honor of the season. She is also 3rd in the nation in saves and 2nd in save percentage this season.

John Tidenberg (Junior), Men's Golf: Tidenberg helped lead the team to a 2nd place finish at the Great Lakes Regional, finishing 4th overall. He also helped lead the team to its 11th consecutive top 10 finish at the Purgatory Invitational and a runner-up finish at the GLIAC South with a top 20 finish.

March

Sarah Clow (Junior), Women's Track and Field: Clow continued her excellent track season as the outdoor season began. She is currently ranked 4th nationally in the shot put and 2nd in the GLIAC. She also won her opening outdoor meet at Mississippi College.

Collin O'Bryan (Senior), Equestrian:O'Bryan had five top two finishes at regional horse shows this season, accumulating 64 points overall. He qualified for regionals with a 2nd place finish at Findlay. At regionals March 14 he made the top 10 call back out of a class of 21.

February

Morgan Horn (Junior), Women's Track and Field: Horn continued her excellent season with a provisional qualification for NCAA Nationals in pole vault as well as achieving GLIAC Academic Excellence. She holds the school record in pole vault with 3.55 meters while also ranking in the top 20 nationally in the event. She also ranks in the top 10 in the GLIAC in the 200 and the 60 meters.

Brett Green (Sophomore), Men's Golf: Brett Green helped the Dragons win their spring opener at Texas A&M for their third team win of the year. He earned medalist honors with his 2-under effort. He has two tourney wins this year and holds a 4.00 GPA for the term and over 3.00 cumulative GPA.

January

Chyna Davis (Senior), Women's Track and Field: Davis continued her excellent season with two more victories in the 60 hurdles. She is currently ranked 3rd in the GLIAC in the 60 hurdles and 4th in the triple jump. She is also active in the TU Business Club and Hospitality Club and works with the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Ralph Robinson (Senior), Men's Track and Field: Ralph Robinson posted the 18th best weight throw in the country at the Tiffin Dragon Open in January. His throw of 60-11 was the second-best throw in school history and a National Qualifying mark. He is also active with the National Society of Leadership and Success and is active in the community.

December

Miranda Mondozzi (Senior), Women's Track and Field: Miranda opened the indoor track season with the fourth-best 20-pound weight toss in the nation at the Tiffin Alumni Open. Her throw of 60' 4" was the second best toss in school history and a National Qualifying mark. She is also a member of SAAC, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Garrett Gray (Sophomore), Wrestling: Garrett Gray is currently ranked 2nd in the nation in both NCAA Division polls, posting an 18-3 record (best winning percentage in school history). He won the Midwest Classic by defeating last year's National runner-up, the first Dragons grappler to win the event.

Emilie Seyfang (Junior), Equestrian: Reserve high point rider at University of Findlay Western show on Nov. 1...with her second place finish in her novice equitation on the flat she qualified for Hunt Seat Regionals on March 14...she is also a team captain and SAAC representative.

Kevin McKown (Senior), Men's Cross Country:
Finished top five on the squad in every race in last two years...had one of the top 10 four-year careers in school history...participates in the Computer Information Club and is the Traverse City 15K award winner.

Emorie Milford (Senior), Women's Soccer: Started and played in all 18 games, scoring 2 goals and finishing the season with a career high 4 points...has a 3.75 GPA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Brent Hunter (Senior), Men's Cross Country:
Finished first on the team at the GLIAC Championships...ran the fourth fastest time in school history...finished first on the team at All-Ohio Championship and the NCAA Pre-Regional...Third all time in the steeplechase.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

September

Jessica Kern (Senior), Cross Country: Finished first on the team at the All-Ohio Championship with the best finish in TU Women's history, double major in Human Services and Forensic Psychology with a Cumulative GPA of 3.97.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tyler Maranville (Senior), Golf:74.5 scoring average for September, finished 10th at the Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament and helped the team win our home event in record fashion, finished 53rd at the Brickyard Invitational and his 72 on day one was the third best round of the day, finished tied for 14th at the GLIAC North Event, won the Midwest Regional at Harborside and helped the team finish in the Top 10.  Double Major in Finance and Accounting with a Cumulative GPA of 4.0.
