TU’s Martial Arts Club Provides You With Real Skills For Lifelong Results

Fall & Spring Semester:
Tuesdays 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Thursdays 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Practices and sessions are held in the Heminger Recreation Center (NE corner). Please, no street shoes or bare feet on the courts/track floors.

By joining the Tiffin University Dragons Martial Arts Club, you can learn self-defense, traditional Karate, and competition fighting skills.  In addition, you’ll improve your confidence, skills, balance, coordination, and self-esteem. This is your opportunity to become fitter, stronger, faster, and more flexible, while learning a valuable skill.

For beginners, experts, and anywhere in between!

Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned expert, you are welcome to join us.
Styles and skills include:

Shotokan Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian and Japanese Jui-Jitsu, Judo, Aikido, Wu Shu, Kobudo (including nunchaku, staff, tonfa, knife throwing, manrikigusari, kama, sai), Kickboxing, Kendo, and much more.

About Vincent Moore:

Dr. Vincent Moore is a Professor of English and Humanities at Tiffin University.  He has been studying martial arts since 1990, is a fourth degree black belt in Kime Ryu and holds black belts in Shotokan Karate and Kobudo.  A freelance writer, his articles on martial arts have appeared in Black Belt Magazine, Inside Kung-Fu, Karate International, and Martial Arts Training.
