Tiffin University finished 44th in the Learfield Director's Cup 2021-22 standings.

Tiffin finished with 368.75 points, second only to Findlay's 495 points (18th) amongst GMAC schools. Ashland was also 46th and Walsh 47th in reaching the Top 50.

Overall, 15 sports are counted in the final DII standings, four of which must be women's volleyball and basketball and men's basketball and baseball. The next highest (11 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.

Tiffin got significant points from its men's and women's golf and men's and women's tennis programs, all of which qualified for NCAA postseason play.

The 2021-22 season had numerous highlights for the Dragons. Tiffin had 106 All GMAC performers including 3 athletes of the year (Nick Watson - football Offensive Player of the Year, Charlie Cleveland - football Defensive Lineman of the Year, Michael Boswell - baseball Pitcher of the Year), 4 coaches of the year (Baseball's Joe Wilkins, Men's Wrestling's Joey Simcoe, Men's Golf's Jacob Miller, Women's Tennis's Phil Conley), and 4 GMAC team champions (Baseball, Men's Golf, Men's and Women's Tennis). They also posted 54 GMAC Athletes of the Week along with 35 All Region and 16 All American honorees. Olivia Shore won the 101-pound women's wrestling national championship, while the university finished 4th overall in the President's Cup.
