Hayden Bronne led a strong Tiffin wrestling showing at the Ohio Collegiate Open on Sunday, earning a second place individual finish at 184 lbs.
Bronne secured a pair of victories over Davenport via a fall in 1:12 and a 7-0 decision over Clarion to reach the championship match. The final could not have been closer, as Bronne fell to an Ohio State wrestler by just a 1-0 decision.
2016-17:
Bronne may have been the most improved wrestler for Tiffin, finishing with a 14-7 record and eight pins. Hayden recorded 30 takedowns, 19 escapes, and two reversals.
2015-16:
Hayden finished 3-2 overall with eight takedowns, seven escapes, and three pins.
Personal:
Hayden is the son of Mark and Denise Bronne. He has one sibling and intends to major in Law Enforcement.
High School:
Hayden is a graduate of St. Paris Graham High School. While attending, he was a two time state qualifier and placed 4th.
